JAZZ AND TAP PROGRAM
For students ages 3 to 18
Tap and Jazz Dance
Tap is a dance style that combines musicality and movement. The iconic tap shoes are footwear with attached metal taps at the heel and toes, which allows the dancer to strike the floor and create a percussive sound as they move along the dance floor.

Jazz is a dance style that arose in the U.S. mid-20th century. Although its origins are related to the jazz movement in music, contemporary use of this style now expanded to include anything from pop to Broadway music and styles of expression.
